Safety: Providing constant supervision to prevent falls or wandering, ensuring clients feel secure.
Light Housekeeping: Assisting with laundry, bed-making, and tidying living areas, which can be part of the duties of personal care assistants.
Meal Prep: Preparing nutritious meals and cleaning up afterward to promote healthy living.
Transportation: Escorting clients to appointments or shopping, offering reliable support in their daily activities.
Medication Reminders: Helping clients with self-administration cues, an essential task that skilled nursing professionals also assist with.
Personal Care Assistants (Non-Medical Support)
Key Responsibilities:
Personal Care: Our personal care assistants provide support with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Mobility: Companion sitters assist with transfers, walking, and turning in bed to ensure comfort and safety.
Medical: We offer assistance with self-administration of medications and monitoring vitals, connecting clients with skilled nursing when necessary.
Companionship: Our services include socialization, meal preparation, and light housekeeping to enrich the lives of those we care for.
Skilled Nursing (Clinical Care)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments as part of our skilled nursing services.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the Physician, ensuring a seamless approach with our personal care assistants.
Wound & Ostomy Care: Surgical wound dressing, skin integrity checks, and ostomy management provided by trained companion sitters.
Chronic Condition Management: Monitoring for heart failure, diabetes, and respiratory needs with the support of our skilled nursing team.
Infusion Therapy: In-home IV therapy, hydration management, and clinical line maintenance offered to enhance patient comfort.
Educate family members on the client’s Plan of Care to ensure collaboration with companion sitters and personal care assistants.
